Bilecik Church is a Bible-centered, Christ-centered church affiliated with Elam Ministries. Within the framework of the historic faith of the global Church, this church identifies itself as part of the Protestant branch of Christianity. It specifically believes in the Holy Trinity, salvation only in the name of Jesus Christ, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. We believe that the manifestations and gifts of the Holy Spirit are essential not only for the first-century church but also today for the edification of the Body of Christ.
Bilecik Church was established in 2015 in the city of Bilecik, Turkey, with the cooperation of members of the Eskişehir Church and the support of Elam Ministries. Initially, gatherings were held in homes, and this continued until late 2019. Over time, due to the increasing need for better organization, Elam Ministries sent pastors to serve this church.
Among these servants were Brother Mehrad Hashemi and his wife Sister Mona Seyedpour Hashemi, who, upon joining the church, began efforts to organize its ministry structure, form a team of servants, and find suitable locations for holding meetings. These efforts led to the use of an educational venue during the week and the holding of Sunday services in a suitable hotel hall.
Eventually, through God's guidance and a vision given to the church's pastors, a permanent and worthy place for the gathering of God's people was provided in the city of Bilecik. Today, Bilecik Church is considered one of the active churches in the region—not only in terms of the number of members but also in its structure, organization, and impact.
Although Bilecik Church was initially formed with a strong presence of Persian speakers, particularly Iranians, today it is a place of worship and fellowship for believers from various ethnicities and nationalities, including Afghans, Africans, and Turks.
We share the message of the Gospel with love, touching the hearts of every nation and culture, so that salvation and hope may spread among all peoples.
A deeper understanding of Jesus Christ and, as a result, glorifying Him through our fruit and lifestyle.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matthew 28:19
